Key Responsibilities

• The developer will be working with other staff on the OIT/MaineDOT development team on front-end development in multiple applications.
• Develop and maintain user-facing features using Angular, Angular Material, and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Implement state management solutions using RxJS and NgRx.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
• Strong understanding of web development principles and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Angular and Angular Material.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript ES6+.
• Knowledge of reactive programming with RxJS.
• Experience with state management libraries, particularly NgRx.
• Understanding of user-centered design principles.

Additional Skills/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in front-end development.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
